History of The Ming Yi Guan
First established in Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2014, the name “Ming Yi Guan” is derived from an old saying by the late Prof Guan You Bo, who was a TCM Professor in Liver Disease Management. He strongly advocated that doctors should practice and understand medical theories, patients’ minds and emotional feelings, thus the word 明 (“Ming”) is used instead of the word fame, 名 (“Ming”).
